This has been done already.... it wasn't funny the first time.

Still doesn't beat the email with the headline "Final Fantasy XIV: A realm reborn beta" with the content "Sign up for beta now!"

I wonder why people still think they're going to get an email before any type of announcement >.>

That one got me too :(

I got trolled pretty hard by Amazon again this morning with an e-mail titled Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, i wasn't even looking for the invite :(

I got an e-mail....offering me discounts on LASIK eye surgery.

I dunno.

I had an email recently from Square-Enix that had "Congratulations - Welcome to the Final Fantasy XI....."

Was a promotional code to reactivate my XI account and take part in a double EXP campaign or something. D'oh!

An email that gives details on how to dl the client and that sort of info could come before the announcement of the schedule. That's what I've been expecting, anyway.
