ARR ~ Add-on Idea's

I know Yoshi mentioned before that 2.0 will feature the ability to create in-game add-on's.

Anyone planning on making some add-ons? Like damage meters, or mods to the UI, threat meters, loot atlas, ex...

I My self I would not be able to make an add-on as I'm not that talented with that sort of stuff, but I know this community has some very talented people that could probably make some amazing add-on's, would love to see some ideas some people got.

1. Target Distance
2. Target Health in %
3. Atlas Loot
4. Raid Assist (DBM)
5. Gathering Helper
6. One Big Inventory Bag
7. Auctioneer
8. Damage/Heal Meter

I have an Idea, it'll be difficult, but have the UI completely vanish altogether.

I should try to patent this idea...

You know like have you HP be determined by your screen getting red and well...

You could do that already with most mmo's, most of the time its built into the game itself, usually its Control + Z. That's what it was in 1.0 if I remember correctly.

Also... I really think that allowing addons really opens a Pandora's Box. I just hope it doesn't go the way WoW did eventually.

If I ever have someone try to gear score me, I'll be telling them where they can shove it.

I agree add-ons could get out of control, but I would assume SE would test them all before approving them. I played wow for a bit after I stopped playing ff11 back in the day and some add-ons were really helpful. My personal favorite was the loot-atlas add-on, it would basically be an icon you click, and when you click it, you can pick any instance in the game from a list and it would open up a window with all the bosses in that instance and what they can drop, showing you stats of items they drop and everything, it even went to the extent where you could right click the item on the list and it would open a small window with your character showing you what your character would look like with that piece of gear.

1.0 is scroll lock and is not a toggle switch,is a hold switch.

I always love one addon from WoW which made all bags into one big one and you can organize. But it seem SE is doing that per bag but i like it if SE or someone made a addon that make it so it just one big bag.

An add-on to display the distance between you and your target, and another one to display the current HP percentage of of it. Somebody needs to do those.

Distance Meter and HP% for sure.
/assist target widget (ie, displays who is targeting what on screen)

3rd party addons are against tos and will get u banned
