In beta test phase 4 they will be carried over, and this phase will be the open Beta phase.

new progress on 1.0 char wont carry over to retail @ phase 4, or i read it wrong? someone can clarify?

All progress made during Phase 4 will carry over.

you all failed to also point out: - Benefits such as early access may be offered between the open beta and official release

OB is kinda release :p and there's no indication there's any downtime between OP and release anyways, so there wont be any benefit of *early access*
