What is affinity?

i guess im retarded but i was wondering with the skill swordmanship, it says something about affinity. What is it and what does it do?:confused:

best guess is its to do with taking Gladiator abilities to other classes;

For example, if you use Cadence on Pugilist, it is weaker than on gladiator, but if you have swordsmanship equiped it becomes stronger, more damage, as to the "increases by ten, up to a maximum of 100" i have no idea.

The increasing part is a leftover from beta.

There you could buy affinity traits multiples times, increasing its power...but right now you can just buy it once so i assume that it might be restricted to a 10% bonus or that now the affinity bonus is adjusted based on class rank (the class the affinity is from, not the one its equipped)
