Just a couple of articles addressing A Realm Reborn.

Just thought you guys would be interested in reading these. I think they all have valid points, but what does everyone else think?

I quite like the MMORPG article.

I really liked both articles. Especially the latter.

The last article is actually pretty good.

Finally, he has a second article that is part of the set up on EorzeaReborn (that goes with the second link from above). It is on Raiding in MMOs. While it is not lengthy, it is still part of the set of 4 (the 2 MMORPG and the 2 from our site).

EorzeaReborn.com is a new site, we have a few editorials on the site currently, though not much else. Any previous game writing of his was done on TSWGuides.com, our other website.

I was also talking with Ryahl earlier (he is at work tonight, and unable to post) and he suggested I include a link to some of his other editorials on our site, which can be found here: http://eorzeareborn.com/editorials/ (in case the FFXIV deprived are looking for something to do)

In addition to a number of FFXIV editorals (aside from the MMORPG.com related ones), there are also some older editorials he wrote for TSWGuides that have been very popular. They specifically deal with subscription models and MMOs, and directly the move from a subscription to Buy2Play for The Secret World (TSW). The B2P model Funcom ended up using for TSW is developed heavily from the Box+ model Ryahl suggested in his editorial (confirmed by their lead developer).

We're both really looking forward to FFXIV, and have high hopes for the game. He had noticed there wasn't a lot of really good press out there for FFXIV, so we contacted MMORPG about having him write a column for them. Until FFXIV goes into non-NDA beta he is fairly limited on what he can say directly without breaking the NDA, however he hopes the addition of quality press helps the relaunch of ARR.
