Closing down of 1.0 servers. Farewell!

Although there were many issues with 1.0 I still had a blast playing it, making friends and just general merriment! Thank you to all the devs and community reps for your endless work in making 1.0 a playable game. I look forward to the release of 2.0 but will always remember 1.0!

Queue the goodbye video of stills from 1.0 with the last one being my character waving at the camera. What do you mean you lost the video!!! Stupid producer. Who hired you..........We seem to have lost connection to the host! :D

I'm glad I had ample time to fully detach myself from it and finish recording all the cutscenes I could (had recently gotten access to an Ul'dah chara so I raced to do those missions XD)

Here's to hoping 2.0 comes soon!

Anyhow, 1.0 is dead, long live (death ?) 1.0 !

This sucks. I logged on 1.0 every single day, pre and post data save. I was still having fun with 1.0, even playing it instead of alpha. I just killed Ifrit with some JP players and it was awesome.

This was about time, some server didnt even have enough ppl for a full group online...

I'd rather 100% of their time and resources be devoted to 2.0 and meeting their original timeline as close as possible. 1.0 was fun, but its over. There was no reason to leave the server's online so long. Wile it was nice for those who made use, I uninstalled my client the morning after the 2.0 trailer was released and the official end of the world took place.

I mean I believe people would have gotten on if they would have taken the "World Servers Offline" Banner off. My friends didn't know it was back online
