Everyone's dead Dave

After reading about the lalafell master plan, I wondered how many ppl were still logging in. So I logged in, tele'd back to Ul'duh, marveled at the absolute silence in the streets and after watching my framerate jump a little bit, found a lone lalafell sqatter sitting on the main plaza steps. Out of curiosity, I ran a player search over the entire server:

Three people on Gugnir... and my network status is still unstable...

All I can say is, I hope the netcode for ARR is more robust.

(P.S. I reclaimed glorious Limsa for the Miqo'te, all Lalas will be eaten on sight.)

Wasn't the game supposed to end after we lost 30% login? Just wondering if any of the devs mentioned this since it went live.

They said they'd check at the end of every month. So if that holds true, it'll be gone with the year.

If this were true they would have already shut it down at the end of last month. There were only like 10 people logged in per server. Maybe they decided to give people one more month to see if they wanted to log in or not? But why even bother wasting the power to keep the servers up and running is my question.
