Flying Mounts

Can we please have flying mounts.

I have played other MMORPGs that have flying mounts and they give the player a quick and fun way to get around fast. Would be great to see flying mounts in FFXIV:ARR.

Personally I would love to get a Neo Bahamut mount. Make it happen SE.

Yoshi-P said he'd like to take to the skies in traditional final fantasy fashion, but it will be in a future expansion. Sorry it won't be in ARR anytime soon.

I was gonna list a ton of games until I reread you said popular. Are there any real popular mmorpgs aside from WoW anyhow? I could list a ton mmorpgs these days but not really any popular ones...


I dunno if you'd consider Aion and Guild Wars popular? Or even Star Wars TOR...

For some reason I think the crudey little korean grindy games have a ton more people than them..

I'd be ok with this >.>....flying is one of the only things I actually truly enjoyed in WoW....but only as my bird form on my druid. But if they dont add it, I wont cry.

It'd be interesting to have airships with different airship designs as "mounts". I don't like the idea of degrading Neo bahamut like that though by turning him into a mount.

If we were to have living mounts, I'd prefer something less "sacred" to the FF universe. Maybe smaller dragons/wyrms~ or maybe even just gaining temporary wings for our characters? As long as it doesn't try to turn itself into Aion.
