"Primal Gathering"

This is a scan of a JP magazine, which I removed all logos and text via Photoshop.

I just wanted to share, as it may prompt further discussion on the 6 primals and 2 elder primals shown:

The two elder primals look very very similar... XD I wonder if we will be finding any holy primals (or are our gods primals? :O?) - I know bahamut is historically non-elemental but he is always dark theme'd..

Also is it just for style or is Odin coming from some sort of gate?

I'm wondering if this poster is a hint as to what ended up happening at the end of 1.0. It seems like each primal is paired with its opposite. And Odin is paired with Bahamut. Maybe he had something to do with stopping him? It seems like he's involved somehow regardless.

To me it looks like the primals are pulling out from the gate (white beam in the center, sort of look like arches near Odin) and Bahamut is being dragged into the gate while Odin charges out.

Well, in either case, its a nice depiction of the elemental wheel.

I clicked this thread with thoughts of Garuda- and Ifrit-themed fishing rods.

I'm disappointed ;_;.

What if the giant sword like things that shot out of Dalamud are somehow related to Odins sword Zantetsu?

I still can't get over how closely Merlwyb and Shiva look.
