Live Letter: A Jumping bore with nats.

I don't know about the rest of you, but would have loved to have seen, and was almost expecting battle content of any sort other than 1.0 nats with everyone jumping around.. :( Feel kinda letdown, and I don't mean about the final event, I knew that was coming. I think a lot of us did. But maybe hopping to see that new instance they're talking about or maybe fight the big NM they gave us pictures of considering the HUGE flop that last event was, amirite? r0 anyone? We all got to see how bad those old servers really were. Horrific. But that's all fixed and in the history books thanks to their hard work over there. Gracias SE!

I understand if they're not done with the combat system and that they don't want to show anything not complete, but really? Sure hope the game is more developed than that XD. We've all seen them damn nats, and God knows they have killed enough of us, too. But just a jumping party with 30-50 to whatever amount of players running around not doing a thing but everyone's favorite /jumps and killing nats kinda sucked for me, personally. We all already know the servers are smooth and can handle a LOT of players. We all know we can jump too!

But we just got done with a horrific ending event to 1.0, show us what we can do and fight and enjoy in 2.0 ARR!!! O wells, always next letter.

Blehhh I just wanted to see a good ARR fight of some sort. If anyone finds any on youtube before NA beta, post it here please. Thanks you all.

Well.. I was in the original Alpha and it seemed to focus a lot on content, they would implement something and we would test it.

This Alpha seems to focus more on what have been the problem in 1.0; the server structure, lag, horribly slow interface, etc. (all linked though)

So I believe they're stress testing all they can, as it's easier to add more content to a solid foundation, rather than the card house that was 1.0.

For that reason I doubt we'll see much battle content and the like before the beta.

This isn't just you, Mike. There have been many tonight who felt the need to make their own topic so that they could either be heard or be remembered as "The guy who started that one topic".

I know it's kinda hard to read the other topics that are already made, and it can be tricky deciding where your opinion should be posted, but it's something that people like to see in a forum. It's courteous to other posters, who also have opinions equally as important as yours.

True and I get that. Getting the servers stable is what alpha is for, but we weren't talking to alpha players in the letter, who are just there to test server stability. We were talking to the people who have made the game, and they're talking to their players base, the same players who couldn't log to play last night.
If I understood Japanese a little better I probably wouldn't feel like 1.0 ended with a.....very small crackle.
Nice to see we can play with a lot of people now. Can't wait to see the action fighting with that many.

Thanks Dem. My opinion isn't more important than anyone's, really and I know that i wasn't trying to become "that guy" because that's usually a bad thing. I'm one out of thousands of players who posts here, I'm sure I won't be remembered. You might be, though. :)

But I actually posted this right as the letter ended for the same reason you talked about. Not sure if I was the first to post about this since i hadn't see it yet, but I sure tried to be with being fair to see everything first. Thanks again, though. Your point is very considerate to those who post way late.
