Dev-Question - Server re-open

Hello.
I was just wondering if servers will re-open since we got told they would?
Wanted to watch CS's one last time and show my friends XIV 1.0 story and finally the epic cut-scene the ending was. Also wanted to say bye to my XIV friends since i couldnt log in at all the last 2 hrs before shutdown and take some screenshots to save.
Will the servers for current version re-open? if so, when will it be?

From the results of the last player survey, there were enough people who said they would like to continue playing the current version after the final events even if nothing would be saved... so Yoshi P said that they would be bringing the existing servers back online a few days after the Nov 11 shutdown.

Hopefully we will be receiving an update about this on the Lodestone shortly.
