I saw threads in the Technical Support area about people having issues with it currently. But what I want to know..is whether or not this is going to continue in A Realm Reborn?
Getting closer to the end here, I don't want to log off and miss out on the Goobbue line that's continuing to build on Durandal :p but I want my screen to sleep too..I don't want a big fat goobbue burning into my screen. lol
But I mean, it probably won't burn in. But because the game is still running my screen won't sleep, and if i turn it off manually, xiv crashes because of that direct x issue.
So question is, will ARR be a little more flexible with this? Will you be able to alt tab and such without it just crashing all of the time?
EDIT: Okay so I fixed my issue with screen going to sleep (whoops) but my question still stands about the direct x issue. Will we be seeing less of it, or better yet, NONE of it in ARR? I never see it in any other game.
