Anyone else suddenly getting extremely long load times on the lodestone main page/forums & on the XIV launcher on the login/play screens?

Yep been timing out on launcher and in game constantly
Ok I'm glad it's not a localized issue then. Thank you.
We may see issues like this now that the comet is getting closer and the worlds are about to go down. We'll be getting everything set and patched and everything the best we can as we get closer to the end. Thanks for the community feedback though, Hopefully they'll get stabilized before the weekend. If you still have issues though we'll want you to reply with some of your troubleshooting steps so we can hunt this one down.
