Last Wish of an Explorer: Nov. 1-11, Open All Areas!

Greetings.

I had in mind to open this Topic in a while, but for a reason or another I forgot to do it. Now it may be too late, but I want to try anyway. Thanks if the community reps could forward it to the dev team.


Being an Explorer, in the current Eorzea I've been everywhere, but there're some places that I couldn't visit, due to invisible walls. Someone managed to do it thanks to some trick (?) I'm not aware of, and the inaccessible locations can be seen on this YouTube channel:

However, I was wondering... Since the current Eorzea is going to change forever, thus meaning those locations we adventurers could never access will disappear as well, and since at the time they were created, can't the dev team do an exception and give us explorers this last present, allowing us to access and explore all those places between November 1-11?

I don't know what's that “trick” to access them, but I would like to have them opened for the first and last time, before it will no longer be possible.

I know it may be late to request this, but I wanted to try.

Well, are there any locations in the files still unused? Just looking at random vids they're very old stuff that were used for 1.0 after all.

I remember Turtleback Island being around in the data forever, until it was finally used for Skirmish..

There's a cave system under bluefog that isn't Cutter's we have no access to.

Yes, they are indeed very old and there're several unused locations, looking at those videos: there's Peacegarden Croft, Knights' Round Croft, the Sylph Village and more.
One may say they don't look much different to each other, but who cares? That's what was always said of Eorzea, after all. ;) Those places, new places, were created and soon will be gone, so I think it would be nice to give us Explorer the chance to visit them just one time. :)

Not a bad idea the only thing i can think to add is maybe show the info of what was planned by Tanaka through his development team notes and what not.

I doubt they'll ever reveal those old informations, but possibly they might utilize them for A Realm Reborn.
Like the storyline of the 7th Umbral Era: somehow I had the feeling it was already planned from the beginning...

Anyway, this is a Topic to request precisely the removal of the current invisible walls before November 11th and give us this last chance to visit those places. I know it's gonna be hard to get a rep response on this, but I'll keep on hoping!

They patched the methods that Mystina used to use (or the ones I knew about) a long time ago.
Was fun when it was in game but people exploited it. With the glitch it was possible to solo every mob in the game on ARC (even level 99 ones) without risk of dying.

But on topic. Would be cool if you could. Personally I hoped that they would open up some of the extra paths in Dzemael Darkhold at some point.
I explored it loads back when the glitch was in game and the area we get to access is easily less than 25% of the dungeon.
