D/c problems and how we can fix them

While Entering Raids/cut scenes we encounter most of the connection problems.


Option to auto-skip cutscenes already watched.
Faster loading to go back to title screen menu.
Better servers and removal with 1sec delay thats built in.
Better game design to prevent areas that over whelmed with players.

You can't fix them. but in 7 days, these problems will fix themselves.

Not be to nasty or anything, but is the fact that "A Realm Reborn" is an entirely new client - and the fact that the current version is going down within the next couple of weeks, not been broadcast properly?

I swear, in another thread some guy was ranting about the problems with the current version, but that is the entire reason they are making "A Realm Reborn"...isn't it? Call it a 'patch' or 'update' if that is what makes you sleep at night and throw insults, but minus the fact they where good enough to let us keep playing while manning it with a skeleton crew, all the suggestions have been going towards "A Realm Reborn" and what, for all intents and purposes, is a new game.

Am I going crazy? Reading these forums makes my head hurt badly, but I keep coming back as it is basically the best place to get information.

three words to (hopefully) fix the problems: NEW SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE

I'm not too blinded by the shiny new objects (new servers) to think that all the problems will simply go away like magic. There very well could be new issues that cause DCs that replace the old ones, but a new server structure and a total rewrite at least makes it extremely likely that any such issues would be new issues, and not the same issues.

Also, the nature of the internet being what it is, all of the issues that could cause a DC will never go away completely.

A little late to be saying this don't you think?
