Inquiry: Achievement points

Some achievements are announced to be removed in FFXIV:ARR.
So, what will happen to the achievement points tied to these soon-to-be-removed achievements?
For example, achievement "Getting Giggy with It: Thanalan I" rewards 5 achievement points. Will the total (carried-over) achievement points be deducted by 5 points when the achievement is removed?

You will still have the achievement if you already got it, the change just means its no longer obtainable
