What information we got so far, besides the obvious shutdown that will come?

Alpha starting?
Beta date and schedule?

Alpha is already over and it was pretty amazing.
Beta won't happen because they're right skipping to Gamma.

They plan to start Alpha around the end of October and nothing has been said yet about beta :\

This is the only answer this thread needs.

Not everyone sits in the forums every day to keep up on all the information about FFXIV. And some people are here after being gone for a long time so just answer the damn question and move on.
