They've already introduced alternative methods of paying, so its not a big deal. However, some people were forced to pay using this service before that, so it might be safe to reset your password with them.

On second thought, it might have been fresh baby seals.

Actually, it wasn't a terrible service. It worked perfectly and easily for me, personally. Are you sure you're not talking about click and buy, which actually IS terrible? By the way, VISA is the company that owns PlaySPan. You can be sure they're going to take this seriously.

Nobody has passwords with playspan if their only contact with them was through the SE Account system. I think some of you are confusing them with Click and buy.

I think you're confusing UltimatePay with Click & Buy.

UltimatePay was at least very flexible with payment methods, Paypal, and that giftcard thing could be used with them

Yes, unfortunately due to my banks situation with charging international fees I had to use Ultimatepay.. luckily for me I was using a rechargable card that wasnt linked to a large amount of money
