When is 2.0 for PC going to be available?

I thought I remember the version 2.0 files becoming available about this time when I read the road to 2.0 map earlier this year. Is there a date of when those 2.0 files are available or is still to be announced?

They can't put a date on it yet. Premature birth would be the worst thing they can do so we'll probably have a better idea, or know, after alpha or beta I'm guessing.

Next year..

Mists of Pandaria is going to eclipse it if it comes out too soon.

Early 2013 is all we know. So most likely February 30th.

Actually Amazon is taking orders and you have to get in line for the release. I hear its next Christmas. There is no update on this one to 2.0 its a whole other game. AAR, however Yoshi-p said that you have till November to play untill they shut it down. So get on a good server and have fun, I say. who's with me? Everybody in Hyperion, Okay well that is what is happening. Sorry that is bad information. I was applaud as I found out, but well people are still buying FFxiv. So what can you do?
