Ifrit (Hard) and Ifrit (Extreme) achieves are identical... please fix

At the xiv pads and xiv db fansites, we try our best to compile achievement data, but due to unusual quirks like the topic, we have very daunting problems in having consistent information on our site.

This doesn't even count the issues with no hamlet ingame UI achievements showing in lodestone. Or holiday events that have 6 titled exactly the same.

Everything our database can compile and share depends on parsing the displayed info on Lodestone. When Lodestone history creates duplicates, databases like us run into serious coding snags.

Simple request: Just like there Darnus and Darnus (hard) nm completions, please make the title between the 2 Ifrit kills differently worded.

And Achievements in general...

It is the only thing that drives me nuts, I have to make many workarounds to overcome the issues that should just be correct on your end.

Of the many issues, the caching system is breaking constantly, player profiles will constantly go out of date for a while, this causes tracking data to halt until the data is finally back to its current most, an example is this:

Here on 7th October 2012 2:37am (BST) my update failed, I check my lodestone, oh yes all my data is incorrect, its showing data from half a year ago. Even my Grand Company is wrong, My assumption is you have a cache template and the wrong data is being fetched into that template, likely some bug with its time to cache registering. This I can overcome but its just a silly thing to have wrong..

I started tracking these and in the past 4 months have had over 2000 profile errors, thats a lot.

Next we get onto the duplicate achievements and constant mistakes in achievements that have to be fixed. There are some with identical names (as mentioned here), then some which only occur under certain conditions that make no sense, for example if I go and kill Batraal, I get the NM kill for him, but if I go kill Chimera, I get a QUEST achievement? Where the hell is the NM achievement? You have to go do it a second time for that, that makes sense!?!?!?

Then you have broken achievements which have not been fixed yet even though stated there was an issue and it would be fixed, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...e?daysprune=75

And cant forget duplicate characters, if you delete and remake it takes about 24 years for the old one to delete.

Sorry to pms a little on this but being this my area its a little stressful to see a professional body fail in so many basic aspects that I would be fired for leaving live.

I know there is a ARR new lodestone coming but there is very little information about it so I have to HOPE these things are resolved, and HOPE that things like broken achievements not appearing do actually reappear or they provide a serious problem with trying to make any representation of achievement points.

(I won't even get started on the fansite page which has outdated and deleted websites... great fans they're! lol)
