I'm sure everyone noticed something *weird* about the way Yoshida's hyur was casting his spells in the last Live letter.
The first second for the casting animation is good, when you swing your weapon in a circle and it makes a cool effect (like what the Lalafell did in the trailer) but then the delay animation looks like a..

I hope it's a temporary animation, not *final* for ARR.

I did like the effects, the start and the end of the animation. I just didn't like the body movement in the middle. -

It's really personal preference.
I like the current, understated "touching the forehead" animation, but obviously many others here don't.
On the usually quiet Japanese forum, there are actually a number of people saying the new animation looks weird... so who knows what will happen. -

I think it suits the description of how Conjurers..conjure their spells. :rolleyes:
