FFXIV stops working...

So, I am use to FFXIV crashing once in a blue moon on me, but just now, I entered Toto-Rok, and my game crashed when I hit a certain point. I couldn't even log back in, every time I press "Play" FFXIV instantly crashes. I had to have someone log me in, just to get me out. Thinking it was just a fluke, I went back in, and of course, stuck in the same exact spot.. Does anyone know how to fix this? Because if I can't even play, I will be pissed. After reading the tech support forum, it seems this is a normal bug now. Wtf is going on?!

its only been happeneing for a while, most likely gone in next patch. for now, just try to stay away from the places that does it. (In loading screens is the most annoying place :P)

That brings displeasure for my eyes to read. How long has this been going on? It's not fixed yet? Wtf..

You should try reinstalling your game see if that helps. I know back when I first started FFXIV I had a trouble spot that I would always crash and that fixed it right up.

The same thing happened to me, but it started while I was leaving my inn, it was pretty odd because it only effected one of my characters. Every time I attempted to log on the game would crash, but like AmyNeudaiz said, re-installing the game DOES help, it did for me, haven't had any problems since..

It's weird though, because I use to do Toto-Rok all the time.. NOW it does this? RAAAGGGGGGEEEEE!

Yup, my issue happened right after a patch also. But trust us, reinstall your game and you will be happyface instead of angryface. But the DL time for the update will make you sadface for a while.
