Atomos and Over Aspected Aetherytes- Method or Madness?

With 1.23b, the Aetherytes that Atomos first appeared at in 1.23a are now over-aspected. In addition, Atomos can now be fought at these camps.

In 1.23b, there are also new camps where Atomos shows up to seemingly "Over-Aspect" the Aetherytes.

The question is why? Is there a reason he's targeting these specific Aetherytes? Did the developers pull camps out of a hat?

I went ahead and mapped out the following-
-Over-Aspected Camps
-Camps Atomos is currently attempting to over aspect
-Unaffected Aetherytes
-Regions where we know Aetherytes are located in A Realm Reborn

Presumably the camps that Atomos is working on over-aspecting right now will eventually turn into the same orange/red Aetherytes that can already be seen in a few areas. We also know that in the concept art for ARR that there are unhinged or floating Aetheryes. So it would make sense then that some of these Aetherytes where Atomos currently resides will be these floating Aetherytes.

However it's not that easy. There are two areas where there are known Aetherytes for ARR. A location near Mun-Tuy and the area around Black Brush. Currently Atomos is working to over-aspect the Aetherytes at those locations. If there are blue Aetherytes here in 5 years does that mean that Atomos failed? Or perhaps they're man made? The ARR Aetherytes DO look different after all.

Just wanted to add that those floating aetherytes from the concept art have a note saying "aetheryte which has become unusable". As for the overlap with the aetherytes that are known to be usable blue in ARR, maybe we have to wait for a lore post at the end of 1.0

Note how he "samples aether" of people as we fight him.
Perhaps its to make it easier to protect us during the fall of dalamud if Louisoix has a "sample" of our aether?

I was wondering why Atomos had not appeared at any aetherytes in La Noscea, when it occured to me that he is affecting aetherytes in a circular area spreading outward from Mor Dhona. This made me consider that if Atomos expands further (1.23c?) he would manifest at the aetheryte inside the city of Uldah, which might be kinda cool.

This would imply that Louisoix could be the reason why there are voidsent in Eorzea... not sure if that really works.

Remaining neutral on the subject but Louisoix, knowing we are doomed to failure, believes that a few Voidsent won't truly affect Eorzea in any long-lasting or meaningful way. End justifies the means so to speak.

Some more interesting bits to throw in here... definitions! As funny as that sounds, it kinda works here and may shed a little more light on what's going on with the over-aspected aetherytes:

Aspecting-
Any advanced magickal activity in which a practitioner manifests a particular aspect of the Goddess or God, in thought, feelings, behavior, appearance, etc.; Often as a direct result of a "Drawing Down".

Drawing Down-
Drawing down the Moon (also known as drawing down the Goddess) is a ritual central to many contemporary Wiccan traditions. During the ritual, a coven's High Priestess enters a trance and requests that the Goddess or Triple Goddess, symbolized by the moon, enter her body and speak through her.

So going by these... Atomos would be attempting to manifest the twelve at the Aetherytes? The problem with this is that there aren't currently 12... there are 10, which kind of throws that theory aside. That would mean that only one more Aetheryte would be over-aspected with a possible 1.23c patch (which comes on Nov 1st?)

Perhaps Atomos is super charging the Aetherytes closest to Mor Dhona (where Dalamud is said to come down) in order to feed/channel the Aether to Dalamud. People have noticed he "samples" the Aether of adventurers.. perhaps to make sure that the level is high where he's over-aspected his Aetherytes?

I had also checked the song "Answers" as there are some interesting pieces of lyrics in there. Aspecting talks about parts of the god(s) including feelings, behavior, appearance. There was a part in the song that reminded me of this.

However the numbers still don't line up sadly. I'll admit this one was kind of a long shot, but ya never know until you look into it :)

it make sense that the new aetherytes we see in ARR are new that the people may have rebuild them. can't wait to we get more information on what happening all around us an what going to happen at the end.
