Mor Dhona
It really is my favourite zone in the game for a few reasons. Awesome music that inspires a feeling of dread, not really copy/pasted to be made ridiculously huge and boring as much as the other zones, lots of high level enemies that make exploration fun, very interesting landmarks to see, etc. It reminds me of FFXI zones.
I really hope 2.0 has more such zones. Smaller sized, but unique with different sights to see. Currently it is kinda disappointing going from one city to another. In FFXI, I remember how much fun it was to go from say Sandy to Bastok. It was your own adventure going through the various unique zones, rather than just a desert or a forest. Later, it was simply a lot of fun to explore zones like Xarcabard or Rolanberry Fields, even that giant Tree whose name escapes me right now. I even enjoyed going to the Garlaige Citadel or Eldieme Necropolis even though I hated them. I wanted to keep leveling just so I could go visit new and unique places.
Exploring and taking screenshots is one of the things I enjoy the most in MMO's. FFXIV 1.0 failed big time in that imo. I really hope 2.0 changes that.
