Can we get the FFXI and FFXIV discount back when AAR is out?

I am just wondering if there are any plans to bring back the FFXI+FFXIV discount when ARR comes out.

It is pretty expensive paying for both each month. Since the FFXI expansion Seekers of Adoulin is coming out around when ARR is seems like a lot of people would want to play both. It doesn't seem as bad if like you pay $6 more to have FFXI as well.

I agree. I feel like canceling my FFXI account but I have so many memories with my characters on there that I don't want them. I'm only keeping the FFXI account active because of the Hermes Shoes.

My character was still there after 5 years, so if you don't want to play just stop paying. :P

I started playing again with a friend to get to 99 so I can go back and solo/duo all the story stuff I never finished. I don't feel any big urge to stick around after I finish what I want to do, so I will promptly unsub again after I'm done.

With FFXI theres always more empyreans and relics to do.
