A new world holiday should be made. The day FFXIV: ARR is released will hereby be known as "Yoshi-P Day!"
Everyone, please contribute and post how you think the world should celebrate Yoshi-P day!
However, here's the snag: Whatever you suggest cannot have anything to do with in-game events. We're talking real life stuff!

I'm looking forward to 2.0 too, but I think this is definitely a case of counting your chickens before they hatch.
Or, you know, FFXIV dev team day, since there are A LOT of other people who probably work just as hard if not harder than Yoshi-P.
And you could at least wait till the game comes out.
There should be a Broadway musical telling the story of how Naoki Yoshida turned FFXIV around.
It begins, the rise of Yoshi P as the rank of god, people start to praise him !!!

It's certainly going to be a big day for Square... for better or for worse. ARR might never do as well as it could have.
I think Yoshi's getting a good deal either way. He's worked hard and deserves a biiiiig cake.
