Dear SE

Albeit you are busy with a myriad of things that need addressing in the game I would like to add something else to my SE Santa list: Please give us some pet classes back!

I am desperate for them! How do you release a MMO in this day and age without at least one. The sadness is soul tearing ;__;

Ya I never used pet classes but I would love to see them again, I miss seeing people sitting outside of the main cities leveling up their summoning skill like FFXI way back in the day lol. I think the only reason they didnt add one is because the battle system wouldnt work well with one, but I could be wrong XD.

Nothing indicates that SE does not plan to add many more classes but i would not expect them in a free content update. They probably will come with expansions.

Ya, and I'm pretty excited to see what the next new classes added will be, that and if they are really going to go back to classic FF job names :P.

i am sure some classic jobs will be added but some of those we have now are not really completely new if you consider those in FF Tactics.

I wouldn't mind puppetmaster again. Maybe make the class more like shadow hearts 2 with geppeto (sp) He was a puppeteer, he has this cute goth lolita doll you could dress up. (scarey thing is and my mom agreed, she looked like me when I was 3 years old. I mean perfect match)

Anyway she had different dresses to do different things, and made you uber cute. Their style attack was he would move and she would mimic him. Pretty much, sync up the moves. If you attack the puppet attacks the same way you do. And instead of a mammot looking one maybe have a doll based off of the races. Just a mini version. That you pretty much dress up to do what you want.

The one thing SE did take from their work on XI was how impossibly hard it was to balance a pet class at the launch of game, we will get them eventually but not anytime in the next few months.

I don't want to doll-up my pets in dresses! Thats just creepy. If you wern't from Mass I'd be totally devoid of respect (to you) pertaining to your opinion on pet classes! :P

Suppose but more me the 8 years of data they obtained from 11 (in regards to what works and doesn't) negates that point of view for me. Few months down the line, true enough but I just hope some pet jobs make it into the mix (smn, bst, pup, proper drg - something new) because I don't really care about musketeer and such.

Actually they said they probably would release them in free updates once they got the balance in place they thought was necessary for the game.

I believe thats just the ones they meant to add from the start, right?
