Is there a way to request for your thread to be locked?

Is there a way to request for your thread to be locked? I just noticed in another thread someone was like "I'm gonna have this thread locked," and then a few min later it was locked. Do GM's just comply when you post that you want your thread to be locked, or is there some other method?

no, you can't have a thread locked just by asking. It need to break some rule, or full or people flaming

I requested for my thread to be locked due to it going way off topic and people not following the rules of it.

How did you report the whole thread? Or did you just report individual posts? Are suggestive pictures against forum rules as long as it doesn't contain nudity? I didn't think they were.

How did you report the whole thread? Or did you just report individual posts? Are suggestive pictures against forum rules as long as it doesn't contain nudity? I didn't think they were.

Look to the bottom left of your post and you'll see a triangle with a "!" in the middle of it, you can request your own thread to be locked only if it follows the criteria to lock it.

I see. Thanks for answering my question. I was aware of the report option, but I thought it was just to report individual posts.

No, there isn't. There is no need for threads to be locked unless rules are being violated. Threads that are truly "over" will fall off the front page without any intervention.

Yeah I was just wondering because I though AsterBarnivere may secretly be a GM or something lol.
