2.0: Leveling off of NMs
As the title says, in the 25th Anniversary video, Yoshi-P answered a question if there are enough quests to level up on for every class. One of his answers, besides other content such as dungeons, was leveling off of NMs. To me this is very interesting and could be a great way to level up with a group and possibly replace mob grinding for people that loved that in 1.0.
Whats everyone's thoughts?

I was thinking NMs would be more like stronghold "leaders" where to access them you have to defeat a ton of trash mobs.

It could be that, but what came to mind was possible unique items that the NMs drop that you turned into NPCs for exp/rewards. Even still what you said, that would be a good replacement for mob grinding in 1.0.

NMs better give like 1k-5kexp ( depending on your level) and 550k exp till 51.. I'm sure the exp per NM will be around that number :P.

Well so far for leveling up, there is, questing, dungeons, nms, public quests, and you could still grind on mobs if you really wanted too, but painfully slow lol.

I just hope the game doesn't become a repetitive mess like Forsaken World (like directly after the Beta)...
everyday: 20 quests > dungeon > crafting challenges > downtime > same dungeon as prior (or a different one on Tuesdays and Thursdays) > main quest > rinse and repeat until capped out
Grinding was completely worthless. And considering I've only played in a PvE server I can't say weither or not PvP makes it more or less tedious/repetitive

Im hopeful there is gonna be plenty of content to do. Time will tell.

hopefully they are fun to kill..... but im interested to see what they are talking about.

I don't particularly like grinding on mobs but I fear a game where it is not a realistic option.

I wouldn't mind this as long as its not repetitive and like someone mentioned...forsaken world :/ got old fast lol buuut i have faith in yoshida :)
