1.23b

Really quick question? is there still a planned 1.23b?

just was looking at the imperial jesters hat and it doesnt seem to be in game yet?

They mentioned 1.23b in letter XXXIII and nothing has been said since to the contrary, so I would assume there would still be a 1.23b at some point soon.

Well, in a sense there will be a 1.23b but its not an official update on November 1st-11th when the world is done for :P. Unless they need to patch it up for the event, then yes their will be a 1.23b.

Edit: Yeah there will be a 1.23b XXXIII Letter said that :P.

1.23b will likely be middle of october, got to stretch out what people want as far as possible and all, so giving people a final patch for the last 3 weeks of 1.0 seems like an SE thing, i'd be surprised if it would be any sooner than that.

Can you quote your source on that? I just don't recall reading anything about 1.23b being the "big event" on Nov 1, so maybe I missed it somewhere.

Yes but that says nothing about it being 1.23b. I've always thought 1.23b will be prior to the final event.

They've mentioned 1.23b before, so why wouldn't they mention it there if that's what they meant?

This is what I've thought, that it will be in october sometime, though granted that's just been a guess.

Has the developers stated how the end comes? Do I have to log in on the the first to 11th or is it a quest and the world is reset at the end of it?

I hope 1.23b will come sooner than mid-October. Towards the end of September would be nice, to give people a chance to experience any added content for more than a week or two.
