Question about Alpha registration

The email I used to have when I originally signed up for FFXIV is no longer active so after registration to the Alpha I changed my account info with a new email address and I was wondering if anything would be sent to the email I had on my account when I registered to the Alpha or will it be sent to my updated account info?

I'm also not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question.

I would assume it would goto your current registered email.

Well I've had some pretty poor experiences with registering for Beta testing before so I want to make sure I don't get bummed out of my application. For all I know my application gets sent with the email I registered with attached. That would be very unfortunate since you can't re-register.
