Alpha Test Application
Details:
After logging into my SE account when applying for the Alpha test, I am receiving an error - "The region is different." I am unsure why this is the case, as in the requirements it does not state any specific regions that can or cannot apply. I live in Australia, where English is my native language. All the requirements state is that you need to be able to submit bug reports in one of 4 languages (English being one of them).
Steps:
1. Going onto the Alpha test site.
2. Reading the requirements.
3. Logging into my SE account.
4. An error "The region is different" is displayed.

I really want to apply for the alpha test, and considering I live in an English speaking country, I don't understand why I cannot do this.

There are a couple of regions available. I'm not quite sure how they are split.
NA, JP, EU
you'll need to make sure you apply from the 'home' site of your region. IE, if you are in EU, don't apply through the NA site.
