Guilds
I've been trying to find more information on the NPC guilds in game, but can't seem to scrounge any up. My main question is: Upon reaching the proper rank for joining guilds (rank 20?) how limited do things become? But any information on the guilds requirements, benefits, etc. would be welcome (or a link).
For example, say I was a pugilist. When I reach the right rank I'm assuming I can join the pugilist guild, do the quests, get guild marks, and spend them as well. Now, if I leveled up another class like thaumaturge, can I also join the corresponding guild for that class and enjoy the benefit of the pugilist guild at the same time? Or would I have to leave the pugilist guild (and lose the benefits that are exclusive to being in that guild) to join another disciple of war or magic guild?
This question is also aimed at the other disciplines, too. Can you be a master of all the disciple of hand and land classes at the same time, or do you have to pick and choose at some point?
It's sort of a broad inquiry, but I haven't been able to find a source that explains much on how the guilds work. only one disciple of war, one disciple of hand, and one disciple of land, or anything in between. So if anyone can post a link or explain it that would tremendously helpful. :D

You just do Quest and get guild marks there pretty easy quest noting much too them. They allow you to buy the high level spells.

You can be a member of all the guilds at the same time and you can level all the classes if you want to.
The way guilds work is something like this:
At rank 20, you can join the guild. You will get 3 quests from the guild (at rank 20 when you join, at rank 30 and finally at rank 36). You can buy skills and traits from the guilds as long as you have enough Guild Marks. You get those marks from leves that are rank 20 or above. Once you have enough marks, you can purchase the traits/skills and equip them. As far as I know you can't use the skills you buy on other classes (for example you can't use Heavy Slash as anything but GLA itself) but you can use any trait on any class (the exception is that you can't use crafting/gathering classes' traits on fighting classes and vice-versa).
Acquiring guild marks is quite random, and it depends on the ranks of your classes. So if your GLA is rank 5 you can't get gladiator guild marks from any leve. If it's rank 20 or above you can get marks from leves that are rank 20 or rank 30. If it's rank 30 or above you can get marks from leves that are rank 20, rank 30 or rank 40, and so on.
I hope this answers your questions.

Thanks Nilheim, that answers my question entirely. ^^ I was afraid that you couldn't max them all out and could only join one of each disciple's guild, so good to know that it's the completely opposite.

1 more tidbit I didn't see: some of the abilities you can buy with guild marks only unlock after the R30 or R36 quest. You can't walk in and buy Will to Power II from the GLA guild at R20, for example.
