Dark Knight and Gunbreaker are the perfect tank in dawntrail here wayThgi

This is coming from someone who does alot 4 man content. do not care for raiding but in 4 man content to me these tanks are perfect make up being a outstanding tank

healing sustain is powerful but isn't broken.
Abilitiies that combo well with each other
still has windows where healer does need to heal them from time to time. not ruining the fun for other roles like warriors bloodletting
Paladin is kinda boring its leveling experence 1-50 gets large differculty spikes when start getting large about of abilities no one really likes dealing button bloat until you want give yourself cappratunnel. still find playing gunbreaker little bit easier to play then paladin atm. not that paladin itself is hard but has way to many abilities constant shifting of buttons on cross hot bar. can be annoying to deal with see

remeber this is looking at the game only in the eyes someone does 4 man dungeons only dont care about raiding


what makes good tank design to me.

is does decent over all damage. has decent migation not really that overpowered still leaves room for the healer to heal. its powerful but not overpowered. dark and gun do most damage out of the tanks but its balianced. they have fantasy of "I'm a tank but Ill destroy you" watch is fine.

gunbreaker is fine cause when use there invur they lose 50% of there health this leaves room for new healing where dark knight even though abyssal drain is strong it does have cooldown and not something they spam. dark knight and gunbreaker actually need the healer.

Dark Knights Migration is not broken. but you have use it correctly have understand how shielding works in this game. if you use shadow wall + TBN you have much more effective sheild then just using TBN people say that dark mig is too week. i strongly disagree dark knight and gun breaker are only tanks with decent migration in the game that powerful but isnt godtier broken. so if expect every tank job play like warrior strongly needs a nerf to there healing in 4 man content (not raiding)

where warrior does not. cause of bloodletting and 8 other healing abilities they have. its kinda broken in 4 man content. thou you have warriors defend there overpoweriness tooth and claw. it is imbalianced. cause everyone knows warrior kinda suck at raiding squire-enix put themselves weird ackward position warriors actually weak as shit in raids they still clear but ppl still perfer dark and gunbreaker even paladin over warrior. however in 4 man content warrior is beyond broken. stepping way out of there station. healing way to strong ability and cooldowns are unreasonably short

in short warrior ruins the game for other jobs dont play it

dark knight and gunbreaker dont ruin the game for the other people they are strong but there fair.

PLD and GNB are quite similar jobs.

Both has a 123 or 12 AoE combo.

Both has two burst combos:
-Confiteor combo plus Blade of Honor
-Atonement
Vs
-Gnashing Fang combo plus Continuation (x3 times)
- Rage of the Beast combo.
- GNB also has Double Down.

Both has two buffs:
-Fight or Flight (which share the same button of Goring Blade).
-Requiescat (which share the same button of Blade of Honor).
Vs
-No Mercy (which share the same button of Sonic Break)
- Bloodfest

Both has two extra oGCD
- Circle of Scorn
-Expiation
Vs
-Bow Shock
-Blasting Zone

Both has an extra GCD to use during rotation.
- Holy Spirit
Vs
-Burst Strike (which leads to Hypervelocity, same button of Continuation).

GNB has two personal mitigations.
Paladins has four personal mitigation.
Both as two single target mitigation.
Gnb has one party Mitigation.
Paladins has two of them.

At the end, PLD has two more personal mit and one more party mit, which while playing a 4-men content aren’t those shifting the weight on the scale while GNB has Double Down as extra button (honesltyci don’t remember if is shared with Bloodfest).

So yeah, jobs are very similar in terms of number of buttons and rotation execution.
The real difference is that PLD is the most mobile Tank Jobs while GNB is the less mobile job due to the fact that it has more oGCDs to perform.

And how would you, Sakura Midnight, know how your lvl67 Gunbreaker and lvl67 Dark Knight play in a level 90-100 expansion exactly? Hrm? How much Dawntrail 4man content you so ardently focus on have you done as them, in particular?

Can you like, give us some streams of you playing them in Dawntrail, so we can more directly see your points? That'd be helpful, and since you clearly are very experiences at these two classes in lvl90+ 4man content, it'd be good learning content for other, more newbie-ish, GNB and DRK players.

are you really that daft? yes we are at dawntrial everytime release an expensation it effects every other expansion in the game cause abilities and job design somewhat changes. yes im in stormblood easily just open up my abilities and physically read every ability i am gonna get before i get

Like how evercold would make all other expansions before it completely change do to some class design changes. do see any difference between doing stormblood vs dawntrail

No non at all they use same formala they always use when doing dungeon design believe that 67 dark knight is different at its core then level100 dark knight you are wrong

still use filler combo still use aoe combo still use defensive cooldowns for most part it plays same, just one has few more abilities then the other. core of the jobs are always the same

If have go into deep detail then clearly you've played final fantasy 14 enough.

you have 1-2 single target combo. you have aoe combo. you have defensive cooldowns. and you wall to wall pull. all leveling up does adds on top of what already have. let me ask out of whole kit want is abilities you use the most. you may get mroe 1.2.3 combos or more ogcd but they follow same concept at heart. ocgd you weave. what abilities do get those abilities and what level. thats right 15-20 so pls stfu with this elitist im better then you shit cause your level100 and am not

what are buttons that you constantly press while wall to wall pulling in dungeon? I can tell you flat defensive cooldowns. your tank stance. your gap closer. your combos. and ogcds not differcult. your not different. you just have few more buttons that all. or buttons you change to other still the same concept.

I promise you harldy any difference what i do compared to level100 only few outliners but there not big difference at all

they use same dungeon design at its core
they use same questing design at its core
they have same quest markers and msq pathing

kill a boss get a chest. pull bunch of mobs use defensive cooldown. make sure you have aggro (watch isnt hard just spam aoe big packs normally that works)

but at 100 we have more abilities. more abilities pretty much do the same thing used different. ok best way to explain this. so your baby brain understand.

i have a bag of skittles. i put 3 skittles in your my hand and 6 in yours. you may have more skittles then i do. does your skittles taste better then my mine. no there skittles they all taste the same. is no difference in flavour.

yes i know skittles has different flavours like lime and lemon what not. core concept is the same. I still use same one-2-3 combo as you even if you had upgraded version still base concept still the same. i need press 3 buttons to do 1.2.3 combo

Dark Knight is a Dark Knight no matter what level it is. still dark knight. like lemon taste like lemon does not change to strawberry or grape. its just lemon. so if you think you are superior everyway being level100 dark knight compared to someone whos 67 you are wrong
