Fair Trade System

Nothing brings people together then fair trading. something that this game truely lacks. resource we use mostly to trade "gil" is easily exploted. many mmos face same thing battle they can never win. but fight they must.

However there is a different way. away together.

Let's say I find a minion however do not want this minion cause already have this minion. so instead of selling it on market board for "gil" I request a trade with another player who also has a minion they do want.

thats how this concept works. now not blind enough to know that people can explote this too. reallife money. however unless that minion is extremely rare chances someone buying that minion off 3rd party website is extremely low compared to gil.

this directly hurt gil market. the gil value will drop drastically.. better explaination is this

I have iron ore or iron ingots but i dont need them someone else does. so instead of gil I wish to make a fair trader exhange for items like goat leather.

so suggestion is this we have a 2nd opinions where plays can offer items and request items. then instead automanticly getting the item like market place does. you actually have met this person in your data center. and discuss business. have no issue with market board being automantic and all. but wish bring people together as social expertiment. so maybe we do trading queue. on duty finder where you can exchange your wares for someone elses. discuss business deals and trade. this could be alot better then what we have now. and having more opinions for trade is never bad thing for a good ecomany

why is this good for tanks. <3

this really good for tanks cause no one needs gear more then tanks do. this improves the system getting excess to craftables quicker means that armor and items can be more ready for them instead having blank market board. or items that cost too much. for a tank itemization is everything or should be everything. never should there be sitaution where your wearing same gear at 30 that you are at 50 so on cause simply cant afford new . now you have ways contact crafters and trade leathers and what not for armor you need

Ideal of this is bring people together all shapes and sizes

This is a tank issue because you might be trading a tank (like, the vehicle) for something? Or why exactly?

what if the tank needed new set of armor. however didnt have gil spend on said armor. but does have items he got from slaying beast. those items could be used trade for crafters services? no

or tank gets minion at end of 4 man dungeon but they already have that minion desires some new items. he can trade that minion to a crafter for new set of armor. instead just gil what i mean


what am hoping this will achieve new friendships formed players who like to tank and players who like to craft. and at same time trying harm Real-Money-Trading Businesses by offering more ways do deals and trade with players outside just doing gil

its apart of tank fantasy/roleplay be able to have a buddy that can repair there gear. or craft them new gear allowing meeting new people and being able met ppl that want to trade crafting mats for actually gear instead just gil

alot new spronts who play this game cannot afford the prices people ask for gear. new gear is extremely important to any player specially for tanks. not all tanks wish to become crafter themselfs watch is understandable they just want to quest do dungeons maybe grind few mobs

alot of mobs fighting jobs in the game drop items really important to the crafting role. market place is only direct place to trade in the game. making gil most dominate source of trade. watch nothing wrong with that. however purest form of trade or doing business is offering something and getting something in return.

it could be anything like - join me in few dungeons and ill gladly craft you new set of armor of your choice this creates position interaction within player base. watch should be encouraged. also it directly harms real money trading cause now "gil" not so dominate. prices of items will drop cause of it maybe little. most importantly server.

thing is making new ways for players to trade bringing people together is main purpose of this outside of dungeons and raids. increasing social aspect of ff14 is very important not saying that social aspect is bad just saying never bad to improve it

For tanks, you can use what the MSQ and job quests give you and it will be perfectly fine, even up to level 50 where gear from the MSQ is more sparce.

that doesnt really encourage player socializm most of the time people dont even talk even communicate communities very closed. its kinda sad

if players somehow give players tasks and rewards wouldnt that be cool too.

oh my server specially on my server everything is too expansive. so for progression was forced by leveling boost for warrior and level crafting so i had gear for my tanks. cause everything on auction house was unreasonably priced. no way to fix this either way to many people. am the type person hates accepting freebes without giving something back in return. however items i collect could be useful to someone. however finding that something extremely hard cause communities are extremely closed and tight.

I do not want same thing they did in 11 where you could just get all your gear for free by spending secondry resource. get all gear for free at start of the game. even sell high level gear for free gil. there has to be away to encourage more players try to trade items to each other

is there anything wrong with wanting experence trade with players? in game?

thats what this post is about. trying repair this broken ecomany but having new ways to trade with other players with different play styles

Now you want to encourage socialism? I mean I'm not one to argue, but what would this entail? The equivalent to the means of production would be for players (as a whole) to "own" dungeons and raids and so on, I suppose? As we already own crafting/gathering it cannot be that, right? How would dungeons owned by the masses look? You got times you act as the enemy in a dungeon?
