Please put this in the PS3 version at least. When 1.0 was being shown off it was possible. I have high hopes this will happen for those of us who would appreciate more use from our 3D televisions. Thanks!

IT really depends on how muc hthe engien taxxes the PS3. THey are workign with limited memory, and it may be to much. IF it is in 3D it would cut the resolution almost in half to pull it off, or limit the distnace of draw.
IT does look good in 3D, been playing that way on my HDTV with my pc. Yet at times a headache.
Same here but always on knock off 3rd party programs. It has issues with those but if they would pull it off with new engine that would rule!
Probably more important things they should be working on.
The problem is FFXIV is a high end MMO which really taxes resources, yes single player games can manage it but they don't have the same issues as MMOs I really don't think the PS3 will be able to handle FFXIV in 3d for example, the PC version can use 1080p HD, the original plans for FFXIV on PS3 were 720p only because of the drawbacks. That could change with the new engine but I think 3d could be a bit far for PS3.
The game is awesome in 3d for those that haven't tried it.
I've even shown this to people who hate 3d movies, and they have been very impressed with how awesome FFXIV is in 3d.
If the game is as scalable as they say it is, I wouldn't' be surprised if a PS3 3D mode was added at some point.
DOn't need third party to play all PC games in 3D. If you have an HDTV and Nvidia cards, you can use 3DTV Play from nvidia to activate it for games. XIV currently plays perfectly in 3D. (some games can ghost effects such as water ect).
Remember tho to not tax it to much resolution is over laid and half. 1080p becomes 720pX2, if you ahck to do 180p full 2D it bottlenecks even highend gpus in this game. THe PS3 jsut couldn't do it with such a limited Vram and main system ram.
Technically the 360 has unfied memory and more for 3D (can be seen well in Halo Anversary edition and Gears of war 3 in full 3D). Yet an MMO would stress it to all hell.
Now you could do over laid side by side but then clarity would be replaced by blurry gaming. To pull things off on he PS3 there is alot of cchign goign on that doesn't work well for 3D in an MMO enviroment.
