What is the plan for this in 2.0/ARR? Currently people who suffer DC or game error while crafting simply lose all of their mats or leve attempt.
I'm hoping for a system where you come back where you left off in your craft rather than just lose everything.
For now, try synthing in stable areas...like in the middle of Coerthas(j/k) or something. LL and Grid should be ok.
I would absolutely love to see this in 2.0, though I imagine implementing it could be difficult.
I tend to get this more from the client crashing these days. The optimistic perspective is that the 2.0 client will be far more stable.
Yes, but there is no guarantee ARR client will never crash and the servers will never disconnect you. Other things can cause crash and dc too. PC error, power goes out, ISP starts trippin, cat decides to turn off your power strip (this has happened to me) etc etc. A system where you come back where you come back where you left off will prevent frustration and loss from all of that including client/server problems.
