FINAL FANTASY XIV has stopped working

Details:
I was running to finish the the quest United We Stand (Gridania) and when I got close to the NPC I crashed.

Now evertime I log in the game crashes when it's loading the zone. (currently 100 yalms from npc to finish quest, kinnsel or something)

Steps:
Login.
Choose Character.
Loading Screen.
Crash.

Tried logging in on my wife's pc; same issue. I don't think it's my PC :(

Fixed. The crash corrupted files on both my PC and my wife's PC. <3 Reinstalling a game that takes the uninstaller 10 minutes to uninstall but windows ~1minute to delete.

Anyhow here's my solution:
Get github or windows or any other version control system.
Setup the game as a repo. (i know it takes more space)
Commit the repo locally.

If a file gets corrupted, right-click file in github program->reverse changes.
Bingo; no corruption.
