/emote /hold

Silly request, simple one at that. Its purely for AFK silliness.

But could we get a feature that when you perform an emote like /pose we can also do a /hold emote so our character freezes in the same position?

Heh. That would be fun to do /pose on a Lalafell, then /hold during a specific part of the animation.

I don't think they will because some emotes make the character jump off the ground, and then you'd have a bunch of people levitating.

Not to mention it will look quite dumb for every AFK person in town to be frozen like a statue.

If you want some new poses to sit around in while AFK, why not just ask for an emote such as sit? One where you go into it and stay in it until you turn it off. But rather than sit, take on some kind of pose.

/sit is a good pose to let people know you're away from keyboard, but I think it would be nice if they added another one like /relax which it would look like your character is leaning against a wall in such a manner that they look like they are deep in thought.

That would require them to have a neutral animation to add to wherever you /held.
I don't know if it's possible to add that into the system without planning it beforehand.

Sorry to say, it would probably be more effort than it's worth to make it work right.

I dont care if people know I'm away or not, the /away does that, removing your LS emblem and replacing it with the ... thing. Its more about, as the guy said, highlanders (like myself) would be imitating Hildibrand while afk. And that is exactly what I'm aiming for. Its a goofy thing, if you get all ruffled over it..then you take yourself and this game far, faaaaar too seriously.

Yeah this probably, but i always support more idle emotes because that would bring more life than just having our character standing around.
