BLM pointers

I leveled BLM to 50 a while back but I neglected it due to leveling other jobs. Are there any pointers that you guys can give me like optimal gear.. since I haven't really played BLM I don't have any primal weapons etc.. haven't really done any raids as BLM, BRD most of the time but I'd love to get back to BLM. Thanks to nice people for crafting me some nice items. Right now my stats are:

AMP -513
MAC -431

Gear:

weap - lightning brand +1 +36 Int
shield - aubriest's allegory
head - felt cavalier's hat +28 int double meld
body - felt bliaud
hands - wizard's gloves
waist - raptorskin (-enmity), mages rope belt
legs - felt gaskins (+int mnd) single meld
feet - spruce pattens (single +amp)
ear - mage's earring
neck - mage's choker
armband - zircon +1
ring - mage's, zircon +1 (2), coral +1 (2)

Any advice on gear etc would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance :)

Some more magic accuracy couldn't hurt. Getting it to 480 you'll be lessly likely to be resisted on Thundara combos.

If from Limsa Grand Company you should get the Storm Sergeant body, if from Ul'dah you should get that coat with +10 Intelligence body, or do hamlet and get miltia body :3

Other than that you seem to be pretty giid, just need to double meld your gear.

need more acc. I say grab Miltia Ringbands or Mage's Half Gloves or Double Melded Elemental Ringbands.

Maybe switch out a Zircon for a HQ Red Coral Ring.

A third suggestion for more m.acc. You'll want to be able to hit 480 at least with all buffs, so unless you know you'll get both Minuet of Rigor and Buttons in a Blanket / Button Mushroom Saute in every encounter, you'll need to at least up your accuracy near 450 so that it exceeds 480 with food. Using one Coral Ring+1 would almost work, but it wouldn't hurt to also get (Maelstrom) Storm Sergeant's Bliaud, (Flames) Ul'dah Officer's Overcoat + Sanction, or (Adders) Gridanian Square Shield. You might even consider replacing either your head or main hand with a double meld of INT IV + Hell's Eye IV.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll try to get some double melds and do some GC stuff for seals.
