Prophecy Inspection

Twice, I have logged on ready to receive the cutscene for this quest and twice I have been stuck looking at a black screen that won't do anything until I crash the game. When I log back in, I'm standing beside the bed as if I just got up and the quest won't let me continue. I once tried logging out, waiting for a few minutes, then trying again, but I just woke up normally that time. I can't think of anything else to do to finish off this quest. Not even sure what anyone else can do about it either, but I wanted to let someone know there was an issue.

I had this "black screen" issue when I did that quest too.

Try moving your character around or hitting a "confirm" key. I'm not sure how I got it to work in the end tho. :(

EDIT: Yep, hit your ENTER key or the confirm button on your gamepad.

I did try to hit ESC but it just said that I couldn't skip that cutscene.

yes, I got that message too. Just keep trying.

Just hit Enter instead of ESC. It worked for me.

Steps: When I logged into end after getting the quest "Prophecy Inspection" the screen held the Loading... Black screen for a long time, it was like 5 to 7 minutes. After "Loading..." nothing would happen until you pressed the enter key or confirm button. Then the cutscene would begin.

For some reason, the black screen sits on top of the first text window. You'll see the text that you're confirming for a split second before after hitting the enter key (or clicking on the screen).

I believe it says "[Player name]..."

Enter worked perfectly. Thank you very much. Although, I have to say that I think I'd rather have Nael wake me up over Hildibrand. :P
