lol. How is this Square Enix's fault exactly? I know SE isn't great, but come on

I fail to see how this particular part of the collab is SE's fault? It seems much more on Jollibee for not preparing their infrastructure for the incoming traffic. That said I hate this event regardless and have a major bone to pick with SE over it seeing as Jollibee is a VERY small chain with VERY few locations, but these are entirely separate issues.

Having a website that can't handle being hammered for a couple hours by thousands of people isn't that big of a deal. Rejecting people's codes after they spent $40 on an overpriced shirt, that's a much bigger deal.

To be fair at the time of posting I wasn't aware the codes were actively being rejected. Yeah, that's no bueno and 100% on SE.

Consider:

1) The initial day of release is 21 April 2026 - today
2) In order to purchase qualifying items, one would have had to visit the store today and upload their receipt information
3) The website says 24-48 hours to receive confirmation (and code)

Anyone else getting Rejection emails from Jollibee after you have bought merch. I got an email saying your FINAL FANTASY XIV item code submission was rejected. This is reminding me of the GrubHub thing all over again..

I made 2 purchases.

1 via app for $60 (2 combos)
1 in person for $30 (1 combo)

I heard back regarding the in-person purchase and got my code.

No word about the purchase via app, still waiting for the code.

I don't know who to reach out to if I don't get my code because I'd be damned if I sit here and not get a code for a $60 purchase.

I made two separate in-store orders and both of my codes got rejected, really bummed

Jollibee is actually enormously popular in the Philippines. Filipino players can not participate in this collab.
