It'd be nice if some of the events that are long gone could be experienced again in some way. Not sure how Square Enix could do it, but ideas would be appreciated :)

That 13th Floor Rising event should be experienced my all. It was insane and really wholesome.
Yeah, it also would be nice if rewards also came back together with it.
I don't think this will happen, alot of events have not returned, because SE is selling the rewards on their cash shop.
Bringing the event back and not the rewards will invite a backlash and allowing players to get the rewards for free means less money to fund the next DOA mobile game.
All they'd really have to do to make this happen is add a tab for 'seasonal events' to the New Game + menu.
I'd settle for at least discontinued event cutscenes being added to the Cutscene book.
I've done both the Shantotto and FF13 event on a no longer existing account from my PS3/PS4 days.
Sadly, I'll never be able to rewatch those cutscenes on this account.
Though it would be cool if at least the crossover events would be rerun again even if their rewards are on mogstation now.
Speaking of if anyone has done the Shantotto event where you get the minion, please let me know if the raid in 7.5 brings that moment up in the cutscene. I really want to know.
Agreed. We have over twelve years of events. That's twelve years of stories- hours worth of content we're unable to relive in-game, requiring the use of outside sources. This content is still programmed into the game! For seasonal events, there is no reason not to unlock these stories each holiday.
It would be ideal if the original rewards could be added in for new players, but I don't expect CS3 to since the cash shop is too lucrative from the power of FOMO. This is still no reason not to add in ways to re-experience these quests. The events with strong writing will still be as enthralling now, as they were upon release. To deny this is to promote the concept that these events are only worth experiencing if they provide a physical reward.
Everyone deserves to experience Haurchefant telling the WoL he's into horse play.
