Ok, I just bought a logitech f710 gamepad. I've input all the corresponding keystrokes to buttons in the final fantasy 14 setup.exe file. But when I try to run in a diagonal direction using the left stick, my character only walks.
Anyone know if there's a fix for this?
The controller came with a program called 'logitech profiler' to set up controller profiles for individual games, but it's a complete mess to understand.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
perhaps try running it through the windows wizard?

yes, like Zoolander, i can turn left. however i just cannot run diagonally left. or right for that matter.

I had the same problem. The fix is to flip the small switch on the back of the gamepad. It swaps the functions of the D-Pad and Left analog, one which always has lower diagonal sensitivity by design.
