I would like to stage a protest for the release of the Wandering Minstrel. The Yellow Jackets can't just get away with this act against free speech. Many adventurers have come to this man, in search of a protective, friendly Goobbue. His music is an inspiration to adventurers and bards alike.
If anyone is interested, we'll meet at the front of Zephyr Gate, right outside of Limsa Lominsa at 3:30 PST (5:30 EST) Today (8/22/12). We shall bar entry into Limsa Lominsa! Bring your goobbue, and take some silly screenshots!
Don't worry, I don't plan to keeping anyone out there for too long. >_> I just want to gather up a bunch of people around the server who are otherwise not doing anything important to take screenshots.

I foresee in the future in 2.0 we have to go to the dungeon in coral tower and free him. Maybe something extra for the 1.XX players? cause the 2.0 players will have no clue why this guy is important but it will play a key role in later quests as well? That's what i thought of the second i read that article.

Protest canceled. The goobbues started getting ornery, and started eating sheep out front. When the Jackets came to break us up, one of them attacked a Yellow Jacket. Granted, peaceful protest did not last long.
The minstrel shall never know freedom. =( -
