Shout Out To a Young Tank

We were running CT (for the 16th day in a row), and on Behemoth, a tank in the group immediately picked the Iron Giant up and instead of bringing him to the entire alliance to get hit with that cleave, she took him to the farthest away rock, stood as far behind the rock as far as she could to avoid cleaving anyone during the meteor, burned that one down and picked up the next one. New tank. level 58. I almost cried. I told her she was 1 tank in 100 and I saw what she did. She said she was a new baby tank and SHE almost cried - she was happy someone noticed she was trying to do a good job.

It's good to an extent, but it obviously doesn't wipe everyone because of item level and so on and the boss dies shortly thereafter, so many tanks that would do this in, say, Savage, likely don't care because it's easy content.

What is good about them taking the giant away is that it can destroy the rocks, and if the rocks get destroyed it can be a wipe. Rarely, the one rock the entire alliance picked gets destroyed right before the cast because tanks and dps ignored giants.

While not necessary in CT because it got completely powercrept, it's a good habit to have as a tank that early on.

This happened when I was new to the game and did CT for the very first time: A meteor falls, there are huge rocks, so I hide behind a rock. Meteor explodes and I'm dead - no idea why (cause nobody cared about the rock-destroying adds, which I know now, but not back then). So one of my first impressions with raid mechanics was "I do the logical thing and still die - what's wrong with this stupid game?".
Props to the tanks that follow mechanics even in content that's "baby easy", cause even games have no second chance to leave a first impression.

Surprised that nobody went furious that aggro was taken from them. I always had bad experience tanking because a lot of people in this game have a weird mindset that they must tank no matter what and you can't provoke or do anything to help them as it's considered rude lmao.
