Rename the game to the Crystal Tower?

I don’t actually think I’ve ever posted here before, which is impressive considering I’ve been playing for five years.
So please, for the love of all that is fun and good in this world — fix the daily roulettes.

Crystal Tower alliance raid. Every. Single. Day. Weeks on end.

With all this potential content in the game, it’s truly inspiring that I get funneled back into a level 50 raid from 2013 over and over again. Variety is overrated, I guess. Why play anything new when we can relive the same nostalgia trip indefinitely?

And it’s not like there’s already little enough to do in the game these days or anything.

Oh — and while you’re at it, make sure we still get slapped with a 30-minute queue penalty when we finally snap and leave.
Oh wait.
That already happens. Perfect!

The illusion of free will. No matter how many years pass, how many expansions we buy, how many new jobs we unlock, how many new instances we get, the Crystal Tower is eternal.

We can't get better Alliance Raids because Orbonne Monastery scared the devs so much that it's the only Alliance Raid with an echo buff.

You could simply not do that roulette if it bothers you.

Yeah, even for the light wells grind I skipped CT by fleeing, but honestly WoD was more common for me and now I never do AR rous so I get CT exactly 0% every day, week, and months ongoing forever.

I skipped doing AR for like three months because I was so tired getting World of Darkness every day. Sure, it's fast, but just not that fun. Lvl 50 jobs are so boring

I understand Crystal Tower will pop up more because people HAVE to unlock it for MSQ, but surely they can put something in to make people unlock the other ones as well, right? Forcing an ilv check in the roulette has helped somewhat, but a lot of people simply don't have the other raids unlocked, which remains the core issue.

It's super easy to understand why Alliance Raid does this. Its the only raid many *many* people unlock. And only because the game forces you to if you want to progress the story. So you have people that are 50 doing it for the first time and you have people that are omni-100 and don't want to be bothered doing anything else. Square-Enix created this problem. It is entirely their fault.

Solutions are easy 1) if you want to progress to StB you must complete the HW raids. Just like if you want to progress to HW, you must complete the ARR raids. Continue on until DT and all players in DT would have ARR, HW, StB, ShB, EW raids unlocked and you could queue into them as a possibility. 2) if Square-Enix thinks thats too scary, move CT to MSQ roulette because thats all it is at this point. 3) make the system so that the more times you do CT the less likely you are to get that raid. to the point where my max level char would not get CT for the 16th day in a row like today. Sqaure-Enix has created this cluster-mess and they should fix it.

ESPECIALLY @Jeeqbit when it is a REQUIRED roulette for the Aetherwell step of the DT relic. There are no alternatives - no options. They are FORCING endgame players into Alliance Roulette and we are ALL being funneled to CT where we get ~ 300 points out of 10,000 every time we run it. One solution to this problem would be to normalize across all alliance raids and give the same aetherwell points for all raids... I really dont feel like running alliance raid 34 times but that is the world Square-Enix has created.
