Hello, I've been experiencing intermittent stuttering while playing since patch 7.4.
I've search for solutions, and tried capping and uncapping frame rate, and disabling vsync via nvidia control panel
I run in windowed borderless, and have to.
I've attempted to run in Fullscreen, but it causes other issues.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cloudflaee warp if you're rubber banding if not check your graphics card is working and plugged in properly so you arentusi g integrated graphics by mistake.
Check your monitor cables and adapters for issues
the issues only seem to arise while playing ff14.
every other game goes by flawlessly
no rubber banding, just.. random stutters or micro freezes...
it really makes even dungeons annoying...
I had a similar issue, and was able to temporarily resolve it prior to this latest hotfix by rolling back from the latest NVIDIA driver to version 581.80 or maybe even older to be honest, I would suggest to try it but as of this latest hotfix that has happened today, I am once again freezing randomly and it's interfering with the basic ability to play so I can't even assure you that this solution works anymore. And of course it's ONLY FF that appears to be doing this as the other MMOs I have currently installed have had no issues at all.
based on my searching.. it seems this isnt an isolated or even new issue..
is there any official solution?

There are issues with the latest Win11 January 2026 Update, that produces sutterings and issues in games - affecting NVIDIA cards. Dunno if already fixed.
Game running good for me, some little hickups, but only when playing some youtube in the background / discord.
Also note, that background applications (like RGB tools, discord, overlays, Corsair iCUE, ASUS Amory Crate, MSI Center) can cause performance dips while running.
