Cosmic Exploration Dronebit missions

I think the idea fundamentally is good as it pushes people to go and explore the map and feel a bit more like we're not just sitting at base camp all the time, but there is multiple crippling issues to the system to my eyes:

- We get way too many drone modules, like I've only completed 2 relics and I already capped the currency, this gave me a whooping 25 drone modules to painfully do one after another. It takes AGES.

- The spots aren't even truly random, they're predetermined, which means it gets very trite and repetitive fast, especially when you get the exact same spot TWICE in a row (but at least it expedites the process when it happens...).

- There is no lore behind it. Such a missed opportunity as this planet seemed to hold a lot of promising revelations on its past. I would have expected hunting for things like field notes (bozja) that you'd get reasonably easily from it.


Potential solutions to the issues:

1) Perhaps give 5 ancient records instead of a single one per location and increase the price for each module to 1k or something. Make them a batch essentially. This would seriously cut from all the endless running, because when you have over 20-50 to do, it's NEVERENDING. Instead you'd have a more reasonable amount of drone missions to do for the same amount of rewards per dronebit spent.

2) Introduce field notes to be randomly found in those as well. Don't attack them exclusively to gold, really. Lore is supposed to be chill, not a sweaty tryhard gamba.

3) Give us more useful rewards, even if just consumables. Those would fit perfectly to bronze logs.

4) Allow us to use the item while riding a mount (like we can use cordials, the compass, etc). Also allow us to recover the drones while mounted (with an area to stand in rather than an interactable). Your game also has a stupid obsession with useless confirmation windows, remove it please. Yes I want to use the stupid drone module.

This is something that I really wish they had added even before Oizys. It wouldn't even need to be field notes, but additional lorepieces we could interact with that would add more flavour to those planets.

I just wish the rewards werent so GARBAGE. I opened 100 of them, only 8 were gold. All 100, including the golds, had garbage in it.

In addition, the only new unique prize is from the Gold, and it's one of the worst mounts now in the game. Such a huge and ongoing waste of development resources. The ugly mount could have been put in the big bang roulette and not waste dev time on all the module/artifact stuff. Granted I only ground enough for 1 artifact and got a bronze, but I was shocked to find it was a useless old minion. Why am I doing this.

It's amazing to see the head producer of the game say they are working with limited resources to develop the game, only to completely squander those resources by splitting what should be one piece of content into two that are underdone (OC and Pilgrim's Traverse), and just stuff the game with fluff like these non-interactive planets. We're just visiting 3D Screensaver with a minigame in it. Relics should have been rolled into Pilgrims and throw in some actual interactive features/puzzles into Pilgrims. And then not waste all that time on OC, freeing up a lot of personnel and time (~33% of the combined teams/time) to make other stuff. Perhaps hairstyles that aren't deliberately bad/having shortcomings to keep you dissatisfied. The hairstyles in the game are like the cars in GTA, fake and weird, with bits of this hairstyle mixed with another one, but then short or mis-shaped/wrong length in certain places. This is not how we do 'hair' in real life.

I don't really mind that the tangible rewards aren't great, but this was really something I was expecting to actually have more lore and story behind it. The fact that it's basically just Treasure Maps 2.0 (but without the dungeons) is very disappointing considering what it could/should have been.

Also let us use them and collect them while being a DoW/DoM job. Collecting drones while waiting for roulettes is actually good time investment but having to swap jobs all the time gets tedious because only DoH/DoL can use and loot the drones.
