Character keeps finding a sniper rifle

Playing on PC.

Ever since I did my PvP roulette for the day, my character has been pulling out the sniper rifle from the MCH PvP limit break. It was happening during the pvp match where I was running around with it out. Then I just happened to notice myself holding it at the end of my MSQ roulette where I had gone in as a WAR, and now my CUL is packing heat in the middle of Limsa.
Other players can't see it, so whatever is going on must be a client issue.
